November 1, 2023. The Opera House, 735 Queen East, Toronto. Conway the Machine — Won't He Do It Tour, his second-ever Toronto show. And this show almost didn't happen. Twice. Back in June, Conway broke his leg and pulled out of the same venue — Ghostface Killah filled in last minute. Then the rescheduled October date got cancelled too. When Conway finally walked out that November night, straight off his European tour and still healing, he opened on a cane — then ditched the cane mid-set and finished the night on his feet.
And I was in the room with the camera. The footage above is mine — thirteen minutes, uploaded the next day to the UrbanXklusives channel. Run it up.
Toronto held the undercard down heavy: Lord Juco with the punchline set, Asun Eastwood — a Toronto emcee with a Conway feature going back to 2016, on stage at Conway's Toronto show seven years later, full circle — plus Saipher Soze repping Brampton, MBK Supreme, and Goosebytheway as Conway's official Drumwork opener, with Lord Fury's Supreme Genes putting the whole night together. HATUEY — LADJI MOUFLET'S INDIGENOUS RESISTANCE ANTHEM

Toronto's own Ladji Mouflet just dropped a warrior record. "Hatuey" is baile, Afro percussion and electronic built for the dancefloor — but it carries something much older underneath. It's named for the Taíno chief who chose defiance over surrender, and Ladji carries Taíno heritage through his own mother's lineage. A song about refusing to bend, from an artist who knows what it costs to keep standing.
Here's what makes this a KONNECT story: no major label. Ladji built this independently on his own Alkebulan Records — a million and a half monthly listeners, 350 thousand followers, nine songs past a million streams, all on his own terms. "Baiana 2022" did 35 million. "French Bossa Nova" did 44 million. This is what the independent grind looks like when it wins.

Toronto to Haryana, India — one record. Cubanbrown (Pakistani roots, Toronto) links with Kaize (Hisar, Haryana) on "Light Of Eye", Desi hip-hop fusion riding a smooth Toronto beat from producer GQ. The global Desi rap movement keeps getting louder, and Toronto is one of its home bases.
The thread back to the KONNECT: the record was mixed by Dusanii — credited with Benny The Butcher and Conway The Machine records — and Trav's own Tony Moxberg has stood next to Benny. The underground is smaller than it looks. Everybody's connected.

February 2016. NBA All-Star Weekend, Toronto. Q — the man who built WorldStarHipHop into the biggest hip-hop platform on Earth — comes to town, and Trav is there. The video goes up: "Worldstar and QWorldstar Live in Toronto." What followed — California, Las Vegas — sealed it.

HANSEL ENMANUEL: ONE ARM. NO EXCUSES. STILL COMING.

At six years old, a concrete wall fell on him in the Dominican Republic. He was trapped underneath it for hours. When they finally pulled him out, his left arm was gone.
Most stories end there. His started there.
Hansel Enmanuel — they call him Kikimata — taught himself to play basketball with one arm. Not in the driveway for fun. For real. He learned to dribble, to shoot, to finish through contact, to pin shots off the backboard and rise for dunks that shut whole gyms down. His high school coach had one rule: practice didn't end until every player made a layup, and a miss meant twenty push-ups. Hansel missed one. The gym went quiet, everybody waiting for the exception. He dropped to the floor and knocked out all twenty — on one arm. No excuses. His coach said that moment changed the entire team.
He came to America and put up 26 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists a night at Life Christian Academy. J. Cole put him in his Dreamer series. He earned his way to Division I — Northwestern State, then Austin Peay — guard, number 24, playing real minutes against real competition. A million and a half people follow the journey on Instagram, but the numbers aren't the story. His own words are: "I don't want to be a victim. I'm not a victim." And: "We're going to make it to the NBA. Nobody is going to stop me. Only God."
Now let me keep it real with you, because the internet loves a fake headline. You've probably seen posts saying he signed with the Warriors or the Rockets. Those weren't real — no contract has been signed. Yet. But here's what IS real: a kid who lost his arm at six refused to let the world write his ending, and he's still writing it. The dream is the story. The grind is the story. Still coming.
This is story 001 of AGAINST ALL ODDS — our storyboard for people the world counted out. More stories like this are out there, and we're going to tell every one of them.

Let me tell you who I am, in my own words. I'm Métis Indigenous — Eastern Woodlands, Nova Scotia roots. And right now I'm on a journey to get my status card in Nova Scotia, where my people come from.
Here's what they don't tell you: something so simple, they make it so hard. Ontario won't recognize my nation. The Métis Nation of Ontario only recognizes certain communities — if your roots aren't on their list, you don't exist to them. My roots are Nova Scotia. Eastern Woodlands. That's who I am, and no office gets to vote on that.
So I keep fighting. Not just for me — for the children. Jordan's Principle says no child should get caught between jurisdictions, waiting while governments argue over whose responsibility they are. Every child deserves what they need, when they need it. I want to make sure the children get their rights. Every child matters — that's not a slogan to me. That's personal.
And we're counting down. My dad's birthday is October 1st — tomorrow — and mine is October 2nd, the day after. It's a countdown to the website too. I'll be out participating in the festivities, gaining awareness — because as you know, my dad is sick in the hospital. And here's my fight inside the fight: he is not on my birth certificate, so I'm having a hard time accomplishing this goal of getting my native status. Something that should be simple, made hard. But reconciliation is what we fight for. The journey never stops. 🧡

THE NIGHT THEY TOOK @URBANXKLUSIVES

On August 23, 2025, at 1:06 in the morning, somebody stole the @UrbanXklusives X account — then wiped it off the map. This is the documented record, taken from X's own emails.
AUG 19, 2025 — X flags a suspicious login attempt on @UrbanXklusives and emails a verification code. The warning is missed.
AUG 23, 2025, 1:06 AM EDT — the email on the account is changed to rkopjtjs@tubermail.com — a random address on a known throwaway-email service. The lockout is complete.
After that — the account is deactivated and deleted. The confirmation goes to the attacker's throwaway address, which is why no notice ever arrived.
MAR – MAY 2026 — recovery requests are filed. On May 31, 2026, X confirms in writing: the username is available to claim.
IT HAPPENED BEFORE — INSTAGRAM, MAY 2022. Three years earlier, the same playbook hit the Instagram. On May 11, 2022, the email on @urbanxklusives was changed to giveaway19363@gmail.com and the phone number was swapped — the same lockout move. Two weeks of verification fights followed (May 17–31, 2022). The account was eventually recovered, but the content was wiped — the bio still reads "Recovered Account."
Trav did not delete the account. He did not hand the password to anyone. The evidence shows a hijack — an unauthorized login, a swapped email, a wiped account. The brand's history survives it: tweets archived 2017–2025, a decade of mentions, the drops, the mixtapes.
This page is the documentary. The accounts could be taken. The story can't. The X name is being reclaimed — and the KONNECT goes bigger.
